Only downfall to this is if your controller comes unplugged during play you'll have to restart the game with the controller plugged back in or else the controller will then be recognized as dinput until you shut the game down and restart it and thus giving the xbox controller emulator the right to make the game think it's an xinput controller. Best "fix" I can tell you for now is to use the free xbox controller emulator program that will trick the game into thinking you have an official xbox 360 controller. Just recently I had the same issues happen to me.
Your controller is being recongnized as both dinput and xinput at times in my opinion.
